Laura Smith and Andy Milne were proud to attend the Lancashire Skills and Employment Hub’s Connect To Work launch event last week, alongside delivery partners Standguide Group and Intuitive Thinking Skills.
The launch highlighted the importance of providing practical, personalised support to help people across Lancashire access and sustain employment. With the local employment landscape constantly evolving, initiatives like Connect To Work play a crucial role in ensuring individuals have the right guidance, skills, and confidence to thrive in their roles.
TBHG has already made an immediate impact. The team supported their first participants from North Lancashire, helping them overcome challenges and remain in work. Through tailored wellbeing programmes, resilience training, and one-to-one coaching, participants have gained the tools to succeed both professionally and personally.
Andy Milne, Commercial Director at TBHG, said:
“Attending the launch was a fantastic opportunity. Our focus has always been on supporting individuals to not only stay in work but to thrive in their careers.”
Laura Smith added:
“It’s incredibly rewarding to see the difference this support can make. We’re excited to continue working with more local employers.”
The Connect To Work initiative also provides employers with valuable resources. From guidance on staff wellbeing to practical strategies for retention and professional development, TBHG can help organisations across Lancashire strengthen their teams and build a supportive workplace culture.
TBHG is inviting employers in Lancashire who want to provide extra support for their staff to get in touch. Whether you’re looking to improve wellbeing, boost resilience, or enhance employability, TBHG can tailor a programme to meet your team’s needs.
