We are looking for…

An enthusiastic Employment specialist with a passion for helping others overcome challenges and barriers, who is experienced in delivering empathetic and practical support, to build resilience, and a solution-focused mindset, helping individuals stay in meaningful employment.

Duties will include:

  • Champion our customers
  • Develop individual action plans
  • Monitor progress
  • Identify opportunities
  • Signposting and specialist support
  • Maintain accurate records
  • Work in partnership

Location

The role will be based in Lancashire with travel expected across the area (Fylde, Lancaster, Morcombe, Wyre) throughout the week – please note this is a community-based project.

Qualifications & Essential Criteria

You will have a creative problem-solving and a solution-focused mindset, with the ability to motivate, inspire, and confidently challenge others. You’ll be an excellent communicator, approachable, and empathetic—while staying highly organised, performance-driven, and determined to make a real, positive impact in people’s lives.

Essential requirements include:
  • A passion for helping people overcome barriers and succeed
  • Experience supporting individuals with health conditions or disabilities
  • Strong coaching and motivational skills
  • Ability to build partnerships and networks
  • Great organisational skills and caseload management experience
  • Understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality, and data protection
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings/weekends
