Welcoming Emma Davis as our New Business Development Manager

We are excited to introduce the newest member of The Better Health Generation team – Emma Davis, our new Business Development Manager. Emma brings a wealth of experience and expertise in early childhood education, donor management, building partnerships and business development to our organisation.

Emma's journey in the world of childcare and education began at Norland College, a renowned institution famous for training Nannies. During her time at Norland, she completed a series of specialised courses that have laid the foundation for her career. These include an NVQ Level 3 in Early Years, a Diploma in Early Childhood Studies, and certifications in maternity nursing, sleep training, supporting new Mothers (Doula), weaning babies, childhood nutrition, routines for children, challenging behaviour, and traveling with children.

Her commitment to education and training didn't stop there. Emma continued to expand her professional horizons by pursuing a PTTLS Level 4 Teacher Training qualification and becoming a First Aid Instructor, a role she has successfully held since 2014.

In 2014, Emma was contracted to write and deliver a Maternity Nursing Course at one of London's top nanny agencies, showcasing her expertise in early childhood care and education.

Emma's philanthropic side is also noteworthy. She joined the Rosie May Foundation, an international children's charity, where she served as a Major Donor and Event Manager. In this role, Emma worked closely with businesses of all sizes, securing donations and auction prizes, and ensuring their attendance at charity events. She also engaged with long-standing donors, providing them with regular updates on projects they supported.

Before joining The Better Health Generation, Emma worked with Learn Plus Us, where she managed apprenticeship sales, handled business development, maintained relationships within the employability sector, managed contracts, negotiated agreements, produced proposals, and was responsible for budgeting. She also played a key role in developing courses and skills workshops.

Emma's diverse skill set and her dedication to education, children's welfare, and business development make her a valuable addition to The Better Health Generation team. Her experience and passion align perfectly with our mission to promote holistic wellbeing and improved health outcomes. Emma will work closely with Andy and Lisa, to propel our services into new markets and build upon those contracts we currently deliver.

"We are thrilled to welcome Emma Davis to our team as Business Development Manager," said Natalie Keating, CEO of The Better Health Generation. "Her background in skills and education, along with her success of building partnerships make her the ideal candidate to help us expand our services into new markets and build upon those we already serve. We look forward to achieving great things together."

With Emma onboard, The Better Health Generation is poised to make an even greater impact on the health and wellbeing of children and families worldwide. We're excited about the future and the positive change we can create together. Welcome, Emma!
